Humind Data Intelligence attaches particular importance to protecting the personal data of ip-defender.com users. This policy describes the processing we carry out, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended.

Data collected and purposes
Contact forms and demo requests
When you complete a form on the website, we collect your surname and first name, your business email address, your organisation, your telephone number and the content of your message.
- Purpose: responding to your request, arranging a demonstration and managing the commercial relationship.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (article 6.1.b GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries addressed to us (article 6.1.f).
Fields marked as mandatory are required to process your request. All other fields are optional.
Browsing the website
Technical data is recorded by our hosting provider as you browse: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, date and time of access.
- Purpose: website security and prevention of abuse.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and functional website (article 6.1.f).
Retention periods
- Prospect and contact data: 3 years from our last contact with you.
- Client data: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then for the applicable statutory limitation and accounting retention periods.
- Server logs: 12 months.
- Cookie consent records: 6 months.
Recipients of your data
Your data is accessible only to the staff of Humind Data Intelligence responsible for commercial and technical follow-up.
A single processor acts on our behalf within the meaning of article 28 GDPR: Hostinger International Ltd (61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus), which hosts the website and the database containing the forms we receive.
We use no customer relationship management tool, no third-party emailing platform and no external audience measurement solution. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union
No personal data is transferred outside the European Union. Our hosting provider is established in Cyprus, a European Union member state, and website data is stored within the European Economic Area.
Cookies and trackers
The website only sets cookies that are strictly necessary to its operation: session management, page caching, display language and recording of your consent choices. These cookies do not require your prior consent.
No advertising or third-party audience measurement tracker is currently deployed. Should such trackers be added, they would only be activated after obtaining your consent through the cookie banner displayed on your first visit. You may change or withdraw your choices at any time from that banner or from your browser settings.
Your rights
Under the applicable regulations, you have the following rights over your data:

These rights may be exercised by writing to dpo@ip-defender.com or by post to Humind Data Intelligence, 8 rue Victor Hugo, 69002 Lyon, France. We will reply within one month, extendable by two further months where the request is complex. Proof of identity may be requested where there is reasonable doubt as to who is making the request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
Security
Humind Data Intelligence implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security matched to the risk, including encryption of communications (HTTPS), access control and logging of sensitive operations.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be amended at any time to reflect legal, case-law or technical developments. The applicable version is the one published on the website at the time of your visit.
